Compare Paleolithic Art with Contemporary Art from the Same Country

 

The main purposes of this task are to have the student be able to systematically compare artwork from diverse historical time periods and to see how are interconnects with local culture and environment.

Information is generally correct but necessarily relevant for understanding the similarities and differences between the two pieces of artwork.

Information about one or both pieces or artwork are missing or incorrect.

Comparison of the images

All the comparisons are appropriate and the commentary reflects subtle but relevant similarities and differences that enhances the readers understanding to the two pieces of artwork.

 

Comparisons are generally appropriate but tend to be limited to the most readily apparent aspects of the dimension being compared. 

Comparisons are omitted or generally superficial.
